On Pinterest, I love pinning dream wedding shots and recipes as much as the next person, but what I truly love about Pinterest is the street style snaps (say that 5 times fast!). Some trends that I’ve been coveting in street style photographs lately are boyfriend jeans + classic pumps (which really add a girly element to otherwise baggy jeans), plaid + flannel (it’s everywhere!) and beanies with cool coats. What I love about street style is the effortlessness, but behind the scenes, you know those looks took a while to put together (unless they’re from Paris Fashion Week, in which case those girls actually are that cool). Here are some pieces that, worn together or separately, will always look like you just stepped off the streets of NY – just like the street style snaps that I covet.
